Alexandra Dirlam Langlay, PhD

Alexandra Dirlam Langlay, PhDDr. Dirlam Langlay is a biomedical research professional with experience in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. She earned a Ph.D. in immunology at the University of Chicago and a B.S. in cellular and structural biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Dirlam Langlay previously served as a researcher and technology specialist at an Intellectual Property law firm in Minneapolis. During that time, she performed scientific literature searches and reviews for patentability, freedom-to-operate, and non-infringement opinions, and assisted clients with biological and chemical product development. She also worked on business development projects aimed at patent portfolio management and novel research tools.

Prior to that, Dr. Dirlam Langlay worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Ben May Department of Cancer Research at the University of Chicago. She also worked as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellow. Dr. Dirlam Langlay has performed laboratory research in the areas of neuroscience, immunology, oncology, and developmental biology.

As the Director of Research at Ofstead, Dr. Dirlam Langlay performs research, manages studies, and serves as a scientific resource for a variety of clients.
